Carmen Messerlian, Ph.D.

Reproductive Epidemiologist

Carmen Messerlian, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of environmental reproductive and pediatric epidemiology at Harvard University, where she studies how environmental exposures impact conception, pregnancy, and offspring health. She is also the Director of the SEED Program, researching environmental effects on reproductive health from gametes to childhood. With over 80 publications, Dr. Messerlian has a background in pediatric nursing and public health consulting. She serves on scientific committees for the EPA and advocates for women's and children's health. A dedicated educator and mentor, she is also active in the Femtech space.
