Secondary infertility is actually more common than primary, and no 1 who gets pregnant once expects they can't get pregnant again. And in fact, the psychological aspects of secondary sometimes is harder because you know you can do it. You can't escape the child world. You worry about the age difference. Your child might be begging for a brother and sister.

You might be not getting the sympathy and support you observe because you already have a child. So don't feel guilty that you do have a child, but don't expect that a primary person won't actually feel badly for you. Seek out others with secondary infertility.
